Lemax Machine & Welding Inc. is the oldest established machine and welding shop in the Fort McMurray area – serving oil sands clients since 1980. Lemax is aboriginal-controlled by ACE Industrial Services in a joint venture by the ACFN Business Group (majority owner) and Empire Industries Ltd. (minority partner).
Operating out of the Mackenzie Industrial Park in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, we operate a 10,000 square foot facility situated on two acres of land. Lemax boasts the largest collection of specialized machining equipment in the Wood Buffalo Region.

Onsite Service
Many Lemax employees are orientated for site access to the largest facilities in the Fort McMurray area including Syncrude Canada and the Suncor Oilsands Group. Our professional field crews can be available to deliver onsite service to any oil sands facility. Lemax’s office staff are dedicated to providing estimates, quotations and technical support in the most timely fashion possible.
